History

In September 2005, James Williams and his family (father, mother, and brother) moved from Nova Scotia, Canada to the very small country of the Dominican Republic.
The first year the Williams family was there, they worked with an orginization called New Missions, based out of the United States. During that first year, Phillip and Donna Williams (James's parents) slowly began to get an idea of what they were supposed to be doing in the country.

Year number two of the Williams Family mission work, brother Scott Williams moved back to Canada to complete a semester of High School, while James, Donna and Phil stayed in the mission feild. During that second year, while Donna was in the village of Redemption, she came across a small baby, who's father had to work, so he would leave her with his friends to look after her. But because she wasnt their child, they would leave her on the fathers bed for hours and hours, with no one around to feed her or change her. After a few days after Donna had first found her, she desided to take her into her home and care for her. Sadly, because she was not found sooner, she died.

After the death of the young baby, Donna was determand to start a medical clinic near the village where the baby was, in the hopes to be able to find sick children before it leads to death.

Year three of the work in the Dominican sparked a new organization named Servants Heart Ministrys (http://www.servantsheartdr.org/). Phillip and Donna Willams started the ministry, in order to build a Medical Clinic which is now open and almost fully functional, as well as host short term mission teams.

During the summer of 2008 friends of Donna and Phil's, Vaden and Christal Earle, came down for the 4th time with their organization Hero Holiday (http://heroholiday.absolute.org/) in which time Phillip asked James if he was able to take pictures of the team members working in the villages and schools. thus, bringing forth James's awsome photography skills and the bearth of Jimmy Deen Photography.
